We have three types of products:
Patchwork - Made from a collage of different pairs of shoes.
Circle Welt - Shoes with our Circle Welt.
Custom Circle Welt - Send in your own shoes.

How do I know what size to order?
Circle Welt products are the exact same size as Nike Air Force 1. Have a look at our size chart, to see how EU sizes convert.
Custom Circle Welt will be made in the exact size that the shoes were in the first place. It is possible to make them half a size smaller, please send us a message after you order to confirm your request.
Patchwork products either fit the same as Nike Air Force 1 sneakers and original Birkenstock sandals. Have a look at our size chart, to see how EU sizes convert.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Please be aware that all made to order and custom sales are final. Peterson Stoop will not accept any cancellations of the purchase for any reasons whatsoever. We cannot provide a 100% money-back-guarantee. If you want to discuss your order, please feel free to contact us and we’ll do our best to work out a satisfactory solution.
Ready to ship products are available for return within 14 days after delivery. Returns are accepted if they are returned exactly the same as we shipped them, you will have to cover the return shipping costs. When your return is accepted you receive store credit. Send us an email to set up a return.
Do you work ethically/environmentally friendly?
Our social and environmental goals are ever evolving, we make use of the highest ethical solutions that lie within our current means. We use exclusively vegetable tanned leather, and use as little chemical-heavy products as possible. You can read about all our materials in our material libraray here.
Where do your items ship from?
All our items ship from our studio in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
How much do you charge for shipping?
We do not charge for shipping. All shipping is free. (Except returns.)
To which countries do you provide shipping?
We provide worldwide shipping.
Can I track my international order?
Yes. You will receive a track and trace code when your package is shipped.
When will my order ship?
Ready to ship products: ship within 1 working day.
Custom and made to order products ship within 2 - 12 weeks.
Can I place a rush order?
At this moment, we cannot guarantee rush orders. If you have a special request, please feel free to contact us here and we’ll do our best to work out a satisfactory solution.

What type of shoes can I send in for the Custom Circle Welt?
All types of sneakers. We have never come across a pair we can not Peterson Stoop!
Why do my custom shoes feel different than the original model?
After the customization, the shoe will feel different on your feet, an air filled sole has much more bounce than a rubber or leather and cork sole. Over time, the soles will become more supple. If you are not used to walking on leather soles, it will take some time to get used to.
What is the name of the dog I have seen on your Instagram stories?
His name is Bear.
Why is the natural leather becoming darker?
We call this process the “ageing of leather”, the leather will develop a patina. Over time, the natural leather on your shoes will gradually change from beige to a beautiful, rich brown. This process is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
How do I take care of my shoes?
There are a couple of do’s and don’ts to make your shoes last as long as possible. You can find care instructions here.
Do you have a physical store?
Our studio is open by appointment, send us a message here when you would like to visit and what shoes you are interested in.
Can I send you my own shoes?
Yes you can. We call this service Custom Circle Welt. We will have your shoes picked up from your home or work and get them back to you with the chosen customisation within 2 - 12 weeks.
What makes your shoes different?
Every pair is crafted to be repairable, meaning you can extend their life rather than replace them. Read about all our sustainability efforts and goals here.
